The Good-Story Murders at Japan Society

Japan Society, the premier organization connecting Japanese arts, culture, language, business, and society with audiences in New York and the world. Japan Society brought The Good-Story Murders all the way from Japan to NYC for one night for a reading. The Good-Story Murders is by playwright and fantasy/sci-fi anime script writer Aya Takaha, The Good-Story Murders takes place in a future Japan where people inexplicably begin to perish during middle age. Lynn Kim Do joins the cast as quirky and manipulative writer “Miyoshi” as well as other characters. She had the pleasure of working with director — Tai Thompson.

BTS: Goodbye Party

Nathan Pearson authors, co-directs, and stars in a Comedy Short called "Goodbye Party”. With a full queer cast, Lynn Kim Do joins Nathan as leads in this story around friendship, mental health, and space pods. Sophia Lou co-directs with Nathan Pearson. Goodbye Party was shot in Brooklyn, NY. Supported by Cartel TV and seriously out of this world. Can’t wait to share more!

Lynn Kim Do had the pleasure of visiting Gray Studios to shoot with Sandy Windham. Collaborations are her favorite and this one came from an organic and place of play. Using her own wardrobe along with the natural gorgeous lighting and backdrop, they created some moody stills.

Lynn Kim Do in her first lead role in a feature film. One of the few Asian American Female Leads in a Lifetime movie, Lynn is Emily in a thriller called “Glass Of Revenge.”

Plot:

Eager to become a sommelier, blogger Emily (Lynn Kim Do) applies to join a competitive wine academy, just like her late mother did years ago. Emily is thrilled when she's accepted into the prestigious program. Knowing her father disapproves of the elitist, cut-throat wine industry, she reminds him that this is their only chance of saving the family restaurant. With her father's reluctant blessing, Emily heads to Napa Valley to begin the sommelier program orchestrated by owner Victor (Michael Swan) and his vice president Gillian (Monique Parent). Throughout the weeklong competition, Emily is bullied by her competitors and even put in mortal danger. As more people turn up dead, Emily suspects something sinister is going on. When she comes close to learning the truth about the competition and her mother's death, Gillian frames Emily for the murder of her competitors. But Emily refuses to go down for a crime she didn't commit and fights back to save herself and the future of her family's restaurant.

Lynn Kim Do made her Lifetime Television debut in Secrets on Sorority Row. She played a sassy sorority sister name Daisy who gives Quinn a hard time during pledging. Daisy brings pure comedy in this thriller.
